About Us
The Abilene Bed & Breakfast Inn offers a refreshing vacation
experience surrounded by the beauty of history. The mansion was built
as a Queen Anne Classic style, in 1887, by T.H.Mallott, who founded
Citizen's National Bank. Thirty years later is was completely renovated
in the Greek Renaissance Classical Style with 22 columns outside and 4
inside. C.L. Brown, the founder of the telephone company that later
became Sprint, engineered this transformation and his family inhabited
the mansion for 50 years.
Along with the 4 Spanish/Italian style
villas that surround it, the mansion is on the National Historic
Register as the Naroma Court Historic District.

clear, “Please take your shoes off, make yourself at home, and come again to make memories,

Shelly Wilson, ManagerI am a newcomer to the Abilene area. I was born in Germany to military parents. At a very young age my Mother brought me into the kitchen to "help" her cook. While I made
more messes than meals at that point it did start my love affair with
the kitchen. Whatever you require while you stay with us, you need only to call me!
